THROWBACK THURSDAY: Scotland beat Wales to end a decade of heartache

Scotland fightback to beat Wales 29-13 for the first time in 10 years.

Scotland came back from 13-9 down at half-time to beat Wales in a thrilling encounter at Murrayfield to claim their first win over The Dragons in a decade.

Tim Visser’s second half try, 13 minutes from time, completed a magical comeback against Wales to send the home crowd into raptures.

The Scots had not beaten the Welsh for ten years, but put on a great performance to grab the points in the Six Nations third round match.

Liam Williams’ try and Leigh Halfpenny’s conversion and penalties saw the away side race ahead. But they were pegged back through the boot of Finn Russell to bring the scores to 13-9 at the break.

In the second 40, Scotland were quickest out of the blocks as Tommy Seymour crossed the whitewash just three minutes from the restart. Russell added the conversion and two more penalties before Visser touched down to send the home crowd wild and give the Scots the win.
